Founder & CEO

Jean Douchey began her career in criminal justice, working with both youth and adults including brokering a nine-county agreement to build and fund a juvenile detention facility in Iowa’s 4th Judicial District.

She then spent three decades in financial payments and operations as a senior executive, including more than 25 years at First Data (now Fiserv), where she managed client relationships, led global customer service, and operational transformation organizations, along with enterprise initiatives across the nonprofit and higher education sectors.

That path — from the justice system to the payments industry — gave Jean deeper insight into how fraud defense systems can be improved and delivered. She founded Think Twice to turn that experience into practical, everyday protection for the people most often targeted by fraud.

Sean Marcelino spent nearly three decades in financial services, working directly with the people who fraud most often targets: individual investors, retirees, and retirement plan participants. As a financial advisor at Lincoln Financial Group, he managed investments for more than 650 households across 25 states and 401(k) plans serving over 1,100 participants, with earlier roles at TD Ameritrade, Principal Financial Group, and Smith Hayes and PaineWebber (UBS) as an Equity Syndicate Coordinator. After stepping away from the financial advisory business in 2023, Mr. Marcelino has been focused on Mergers and Acquisitions within the RIA and Insurance industry. He is also consulting for an insurance technology company.

Sean met the founder of Think Twice, Jean Douchey at an event for founders and startups. After a few discussions with Jean, he knew that he wanted to join Think Twice.

“Jean has a passion for keeping the criminals out of the lives of good people. With our combined experience in the banking and financial services industries, I believe we can help millions of people prevent fraud and scams from entering their lives.”— Sean Marcelino
